The Alachua County Democratic Executive Committee (ACDEC) would like to invite you to the 26th Annual Lawton Chiles Gala to be held on September 28, 2025 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at the Hilton University of Florida, 1714 SW 34th St, Gainesville, FL 32607.
Each year, we bring together party activists, elected officials, labor and community leaders, and supporters from across North Central Florida for an evening of celebration and civic engagement. Our Gala will feature a delicious meal, wonderful musical performers, and incredible speakers.
Alachua County has long played a pivotal role in Florida’s history and we continue to show our value and strength as one of six Democratic counties in Florida. Since the 2024 election, we have increased our events to include a range of activities from civics courses to candidate forums to general meetings & open houses. These events along with our increased community outreach showcase the strong Democratic presence in our county.
