In 2024, Alachua County stood out as one of only six blue counties in Florida. As a blue dot in a sea of red, protecting and strengthening our county is more important than ever.

With that in mind, we are pleased to invite you to An Evening in Blue on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the historic Gainesville Woman’s Club, 2809 W University Ave, Gainesville, FL, 32607.

Join us for an evening of jazz, cocktails, and meaningful conversation with the people shaping Florida’s Democratic future, including Chair of the Florida Democratic Party Nikki Fried and Orange County Mayor and candidate for governor Jerry Demings, who has proven that Democrats can win and lead in this state.

Alachua County Democrats have shown what’s possible. In a state where the political narrative too often runs against us, our county party is organizing, turning out voters, and winning. That success doesn’t happen without supporters like you.

But 2026 will demand even more. Candidates are stepping up, and campaigns are taking shape. Strong turnout operations take months to build and require resources well before Election Day. Every ticket purchased helps us strengthen our party, support Democratic candidates, and mobilize voters for the August and November elections.
